BANGOR (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- The veterans who march across Maine on Memorial Day accept the applause along their parade routes on behalf of the veterans who couldn't be there to hear it.

To find the time of the parade nearest you, scroll alphabetically by community through the following list. All parades take place on Monday, May 28 unless otherwise indicated.

BANGOR: 10:15 a.m. on Exchange Street/Main Street

BATH: 10:30 a.m. on Lincoln Street/Centre Street/Front Street

BIDDEFORD/SACO: 10 a.m. from Eastman Park (Saco) to Veterans Memorial Park (Biddeford)

BRUNSWICK/TOPSHAM: 9 a.m. on Main Street (Topsham)/Maine Street (Brunswick)

CALAIS: 10 a.m. starting at post office with stops at Memorial Park and Veterans Cemetery

CAMDEN: 9:30 a.m. on Route 1

CAPE ELIZABETH: 9 a.m. on Route 77/Scott Dyer Road

CARIBOU: 10 a.m. from Caribou Courthouse to Veterans' Memorial Park
