A Christmas Carol at The Public Theatre in Lewiston, still delights after 26 years.

The Public Theatre in Lewiston is in production this week of A Christmas Carol. It is their 26th year producing this play and the artistic director still finds joy in each performance. The actor playing Ebeneezer Scrooge has memories of listening to A Christmas Carol when he was a child in Lubec, and longed for the time when he could play Scrooge. Now, with repeated performances of the complicated character under his belt, he too delights in the telling of this tale.

The Public Theatre in Lewiston has four shows of this Dickens classic. Friday, Dec 14 at 7pm. Saturday December 15 at 2pm & 7pm. And Sunday December 16 at 2pm.

Tickets available at their website, The Public Theatre.
