Worried family hopes for missing Norway woman's safe return

NORWAY, Maine (NEWS CENTER Maine) — The passage of several days with no sign of April Smith has her family worried.

Norway Police are treating her disappearance as a missing person case.

Officer Robbie Federico said Smith was last seen at a shelter in the Portland area on Friday, Nov. 9, and had told people she was planning a trip to the casino in Bangor.

Smith lives in Norway. She is 50 years old, stands 5'5" tall and weighs about 275 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
