John Smist is happy to be home in Maine, where he started working at NEWS CENTER in February of 2004. Before that, John worked as a Sports Director at stations in Georgia and Mississippi. John grew up in Hermon, Maine and went to Syracuse University.
As you might expect, he loves to watch sports and plays basketball and golf whenever he gets the chance.
