On paper, Frank Snow of Brooksville volunteers several hours every month at the Brooksville Meals Café, transporting nutritious meals from Deer Isle, where the meals are prepared to Brooksville's elderly population, where the meals are served by other volunteers. In reality, he gives countless hours, quietly, to those in town who are ill, coping with misfortune, in need of a hand.
