THE FORKS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- One hundred sixty-nine competitors forming 49 teams from all over the world converged on Maine last weekend for the Untamed New England Adventure Race.

The ultra-athletes ran, biked, paddled and climbed more than 200 hundred miles through Maine's toughest and most beautiful back-country.

The race was won by the World Champion Thule Racing Team of Sweeden.
