18-year-old N.H girl surrendered to police after stabbing

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) - - Portsmouth Police Department said a New Hampshire woman surrendered to police on Thursday after stabbing someone.

According to police 18-year-old Savannah Raven of Seabrook, NH surrendered herself on an arrest warrant initiated by the Portsmouth Police Department for 1st Degree Assault and False Report to Law Enforcement.

Portsmouth Police Sgt. John Peracchi said an arrest warrant was issued after an investigation into a report of a stabbing that occurred near her residence on July 25, 2016. 

The victim suffered stab wounds which were non-life threatening and was medically treated and released, said Sgt. Peracchi.

Police said Raven was released on two-thousand-dollars personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear at the Portsmouth 10th Circuit Court for an arraignment on October 24, 2016, at 1:30 pm.
