BANGOR (NEWS CENTER) -- Four of the seven women charged in April in an online prostitution ring in Brewer were in court Thursday.
Aimee Bernard, Jolena Glidden and Kimberly Oakley of Bangor, and Alicia Gray of Kenduskeag, were all charged with promoting prostitution.
Bernard, Glidden and Oakley all pleaded guilty and were fined 500 dollars. Gray pleaded not guilty and a trial was scheduled for July.
Investigators say they invited 6 young women to a hotel in Brewer in April and all 6 were recorded offering an undercover officer sex for money.
Some of the women were contacted through an ad on craigslist.com.
