SHAPLEIGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A firefighter who was injured Sunday when a fire truck rolled over in Shapleigh is out of the hospital and back home.

The accident happened around 5 p.m. on Newfield Road.  Shapleigh's fire chief tells NEWS CENTER that Natasha Kenney was injured when the truck she was driving hit a soft shoulder and flipped over.  The chief says Kenney has a lot of cuts and bruises, but is otherwise OK.

Kenney was wearing her seatbelt, and the chief says that probably saved her life.  He also says she did an amazing job of avoiding a group of motorcylists who were heading in the other direction on Newfield Road at the time of the accident.
