State Economist Amanda Rector

ECONOMIST AMANDA RECTOR

Amanda Rector has just been named State Economist.  Rector is 29-years old.  She is an economist with the State Planning Office who analyzes Maine's economy for planning and policy purposes.  Rector has worked in the State Planning Office since 2007 and was with the Department of Labor before that. She has degrees from Wellesley College and from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine.
