BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--Some working women in Maine are trying to show high school girls they have just as many career options as men.
High school girls from around the state went to the Totally Trades conference. a workshop introducing young women to careers usually pursued by men.
This is the tenth year of the conference. Organizers say the event shows young women that anything is possible if they are motivated and they go after what they want.
The conference was organized by the group "Women, Work and community". There will be another Totally Trades Conference in Presque Isle on April 27th.
