(NEWS CENTER) - State law enforcement officials say Aroostook County continues to be the state's problem spot for the production of illegal methamphetamine.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says a meth lab was uncovered Wednesday in Presque Isle... And a another lab is suspected in the Van Buren area.
Fires at each lab clued police in to them.
In the Presque Isle case, a man was seriously burned as fire broke out while he was cooking the drug concoction.
And in Van Buren, a by-stander was injured when he inhaled toxic fumes after a discarded drug lab caught fire in a dumpster.
