BOSTON (AP) - A man has been arrested in Boston after apparently becoming disoriented and trying to open a cabin door on a US Airways Express commuter jet flying from Maine to Philadelphia.
Airline spokesman Andrew Christie says Flight 3801 operated by Air Wisconsin was diverted to Boston's Logal International Airport on Thursday afternoon. Christie says other passengers helped subdue the disoriented man and the plane landed safely a few minutes after 4:30 p.m. He says the other passengers deplaned and were being interviewed by state police.
State police say the man was in their custody.
The flight from Portland, Maine, had 50 passengers and three crew members.
