BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Bangor Police say they have apprehended a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred Monday morning in the city.
The victim in the attack was found in back of the old 'Cakes by Jan' building on Hammond Street.
Investigators say they tracked 23-year-old Daniel Bolden to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. Police say Bolden is a transient from Georgia. He was arrested and has been charged with elevated aggravated assault.
Police say the man, who was stabbed in the back, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center's Emergency Department where his condition is unknown.
