WALDOBORO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A woman from Belfast has died in a car crash in Waldoboro.
At 2:30 PM Saturday, a Chevy Pickup that was traveling south on Route 1 slammed into the back of Buick sedan.
The Buick had slowed to make a left hand turn.
There were two people in the Buick, Richard and Florence Bryant.
Florence died at the scene. She was 81 years old.
Richard was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
The driver of the pickup, Andrew Chapman, of Waldoboro, was taken to Penn Bay Hospital along with his wife and their child.
The accident remains under investigation.
