(NEWS CENTER) - Sunday marked six months to the day since the beginning of the Ayla Reynolds disappearance investigation.
Police say the toddler was last seen on December 16th when she was put to bed. She was reported missing the next day when she wasn't there.
In a May 31st news conference, State Police announced that it would be unlikely that the toddler would be found alive.
State Police Spokesman Steve McCausland says that after months of searching, a drawn-out investigation and hundreds of leads, no evidence points to Reynolds' survival.
Investigators say they believe Ayla's father, Justin DiPietro, and the other people in the house the night the toddler disappeared know more than they are revealing to police.
