CHINA, Maine (AP) - The Maine Warden Service has recovered the body of a 43-year-old man who was last seen swimming in a central Maine lake.

Tye Feihel of China went for a swim in China Lake at about 3 p.m. Monday. A warden dive team and other searchers in boats and aircraft were searching the lake on Tuesday.

Wardens say Feihel's body was found around noon Tuesday in about 27 feet of water.

Officials say Feihel routinely started his swim at his residence and followed the shoreline before ending at a landing at the Lakeside Country Store, where his mother picked him up and drove him home.

Monday was Feihel's first swim of the year.

Feihel had autism and schizophrenia.
