After another cloudy morning, we've witnessed a much brighter sky this afternoon; as we head into the evening hours look for some increasing cloud cover, with plenty of clouds expected overnight.
We've got some significant changes coming in our weather pattern, which will begin with an invasion of hot and humid air riding into our neighborhoods on westerly breezes. A frontal boundary dropping into the region later Wednesday may trigger some scattered showers and thundershowers, with another warm and humid day expected on Thursday. The best chance for widespread showers and thundershowers appears to be on Friday as a cold front will move through the state from west to east. That front is the leading edge of some cooler air which will arrive on Saturday, but there will still be enough instability to trigger a scattered shower or thundershower during the afternoon Saturday.
