ANDOVER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Police have arrested a man from Andover on Domestic Violence charges after police say he shot at his live-in girlfriend.
Jennifer Stone called police from a neighbor's house Saturday evening and reported that Jason Standeven had fired a rifle at her foot during an argument.
Her kids were in the house at the time.
Police responded to the scene and learned from a neighbor that Standeven's mother had swung by and picked up Stone.
The Oxford County Sheriff's Office sent a deputy to the mother's house to pick up Stone for a victim's statement.
Just as police were preparing to surround Standeven's house, they got a call that the deputy at the mother's house had arrested him.
Apparently his mother had picked up both Standeven and Stone.
He was taken to the Oxford County Jail where bail has yet to be set.
He's facing a number of charges, domestic assault, reckless conduct with a firearm, child endangerment and domestic terrorizing.
The Oxford County Sheriff's Department says more charges are likely... And some of the current charges may be elevated.
