BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- After more than 30 years of service to the City of Bangor, Police Chief Ronald Gastia has announced he is retiring in September.

Gastia has served as police chief since 2007. One of the Chief's most notable accomplishments has been the construction of the new downtown Police Station, which Conlow says, he oversaw from concept to completion.
