(NEWS CENTER) -- Olympic luger Julia Clukey and 94 girls ages 8 to 12 are wrapping up 10 days of fun in the sun.

Clukey and the YMCA joined forces to run the camp. It's the first year they've teamed up to do this.

As part of the curriculum, the girls are learning about building self-confidence and making healthy decisions.

One of the topics is the role media plays in a girls life.. every thing from the images in magazine to what they see on the news.

Clukey is hoping to make the camp an annual event.

Local businesses raised enough money to provide scholarships to send 30 of the girls to the camp.
