SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The State Fire Marshal's Office says they've summonsed their first person in connection with illegal fireworks in Maine.

They say a man was not only selling without a license but he was selling devices prohibited by the new law.

Investigators say Gregory Jutras was advertising the devices online. Agents say they contacted Jutras then met up with him in a parking lot in South Portland.

He allegedly had $1,000 worth of fireworks in the trunk. All of which has been confiscated.

Jutras faces 364 days in jail and up to $2,000 in fines.
