(NEWS CENTER)-- Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford is scheduled to make a rehab appearance for the Portland Sea Dogs on Tuesday, July 3rd at 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field when the Sea Dogs take on the Trenton Thunder.
The 30 year-old, Crawford has been sidelined for the entire 2012 season as a result of left wrist surgery and a sprained UCL in his left elbow. He has made five rehab appearances with the Gulf Coast League Red Sox hitting .214 (3-for-14) with two runs scored. The veteran has spent ten seasons in the Major Leagues and is a four time American League All-Star including earning All-Star MVP honors in the 2009 midsummer classic.
