BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- As you make your plans for Independence Day--something you might want to consider, is Chords for the Cure VIII at the Bangor Waterfront Pavillion. Not only is it a concert featuring a number of talented local musicians, but it is also a fundraiser. 

Gates open at 3pm.  Adults $5 and Children $3.  All the proceeds go to the pediatric cancer center at Cancer Care of Maine, and also toward ALS research.  ALS is commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
