Scattered thunderstorms will continue to move through Maine and New Hampshire into the evening hours. Once the sun goes down I expect the severe thunderstorm activity to come to an end and we will be left with showers and isolated storms. That activity comes to an end after midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy with some areas of fog. Hot and humid is the name of the game right through Saturday. More comfortable conditions return Sunday.

Tonight - Evening thunderstorms come to an end. Skies will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Lows in the mid to low 60s.

Thursday - Morning clouds will give way to developing sunshine. Clearing first in SW parts of the state. Just the chance of some isolated showers popping up in the afternoon. Highs will be around 80 degrees and it will be humid.

Extended Forecast - Friday looks like a nice beach day. It will be hot and humid with a mix of sun and clouds. Still hot and humid on Saturday with some scattered thunderstorms through the day. Things will be much more comfortable come Sunday, and the weather will be gorgeous. Nice weather continues through the start of the work week.
