Good morning! A cold front is pushing the last of our showers and thunderstorms out to sea this morning. Patchy fog will burn off quickly and we will see times of clouds and sunshine the rest of the day. It will be warm but turn less humid. I see a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon and evening with the BEST chance east and north of Augusta and over the mountains. Some storms may produce some heavy rain again. My thinking right now is fireworks shows will be able to go on schedule. Patchy fog forms again late tonight but it will be cooler and more comfortable. Heat and humidity will return tomorrow. It will be hot and humid Saturday with afternoon and evening thunderstorms moving in ahead of a cold front. High pressure takes control for Sunday with cooler and drier air that might stick around awhile. Have a good day!
