PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Better late than never. The fireworks show went on in Portland on Thursday.
The Portland Symphony Orchestra played right into the main attraction -- the annual fireworks spectacular off the Eastern Prom. The fireworks were set off from a barge moored off the beach. A huge crowd gathered on land and at sea to view the show. The weather was fine and no matter where you were, the view was great.
