OXFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Police are investigating two unrelated crashes in the town of Oxford, one of them deadly.

Kenneth Smith, from the town of Oxford, died Friday night when his truck plowed into a tree on Webber Brook Road.
The accident happened around 10:20 last night and beyond that, police are remaining tight lipped while the case remains open.

And a motorcyclist will likely recover after being hit by a truck on King Street this afternoon.
Police say Harold Bragdon was pulling into a driveway and probably didn't see Donald Harvey on his bike.

Harvey was not wearing a helmet and he was taken to the hospital, but police say his injuries are not life threatening.
Police couldn't say whether there would be charges in either case.
