Your Tuesday forecast features another beautiful day all thanks to high pressure still in control of our weather. A weak trough passing through may bring us a few isolated showers later today for the mountains and northern Maine, but everybody else will stay dry. This sunny and comfortable stretch of weather continues for the rest of the work week. More humid conditions will be returning for the weekend.
This Afternoon - Mostly sunny conditions. Winds will start to come out of the SW and highs will be around 80 degrees.
Tonight - Clear skies, light winds, and lows in the 50s.
Wednesday - Sunny skies, southerly wind around 10 mph, and highs around 80.
Extended Forecast - Another sunny day on Thursday with slightly warmer temperatures. High in some places will also be pushing 90 on Friday. There is the chance of some thunderstorms during the afternoon Friday, but I think the best chance for that activity will be in northern Maine. Humid conditions return for the weekend. Partly cloudy skies on Saturday. There could be some late day thunderstorms on Sunday. Best chance of seeing more widespread showers will be next Monday.
