Good morning! Another hot and muggy day today with scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. It will be cooler again along the mid and downeast coasts. Warm and humid weather will stick around into Wednesday. A cold front late Tuesday and Tuesday night will trigger more showers and thunderstorms. Some storms can produce strong winds and heavy rain along with frequent lightning and hail. Best chance of severe storms will be over the mountains and foothills along with far northern Maine.
