PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A big smile can make everything better -- even Portland traffic.
That was the message that 20-year-old Destiny Bouchard tried to get across on Thursday.
She made it her personal mission to spread a little happiness by making a sign to ask passing drivers to flash their best grin.
Destiny took up her crusade at the corner of Park and High Streets, and was soon joined by several friends. Drivers gave them just what they wanted by smiling and honking their horns in approval.
Encouraged by the response, Destiny kept asking for more smiles until her her voice finally gave out.
