High pressure has provided us with plenty of sunshine today, with northwest breezes steering some dry, comfortable air into our neighborhoods.  Expect more of the same tomorrow; on Sunday the high will be sliding to our east, which means we will experience a windshift (from northwest to southwest.) The southwest breezes will bring increasingly humid air into the Northern New England area.

A frontal boundary approaching from the northwest may be close enough to trigger some scattered showers and thundershowers in northern counties later in the day Monday, with  better chance of showers and thundershowers on Tuesday.

As the front pushes offshore, drier, cooler air will move back into the region later Tuesday and into Wednesday.
