LIMINGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State police in Massachusetts are looking for the public's help in solving an apparent road rage shooting that injured a teen girl from Maine.

Police say family tells them the 16 year old girl was shot in the arm through the rear window on I-495 in Merrimac.

The family was apparently on their way home to Limington.

The alleged shooter was driving a white car, apparently a Honda Accord, with Massachusetts plates.

The white car had apparently passed and then cut off the family.

The family then passed the white car again and that's when the shooting happened.
