Artists from around the world use Maine as inspiration

As part of the fourth annual Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium in Orono. Eight sculptors are creating art for display at Acadia Hospital, the University of Maine, Husson University, Old Town, Orono and Bangor. They may all be using native Maine granite -- but only two of the artists are from the Pine Tree state. The others are from South Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. For some, it's not only the first time in Maine, but the first time in the US.
