EAST MILLINOCKET, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- Roughly one year after buying the East Millinocket paper mill, a New Hampshire based company is now looking to add jobs there.
Officials with 'Cate Street Capital say that they are now in the position to start up a second paper-making machine at the mill. About 235 workers manage the one that is currently online.
A spokesman for the company says it is now seeking to add about 37 more jobs at the mill because of the strong paper sales they've been seeing with their customers in the northeast.
Officials say the mill is currently operating at maximum output and orders are sold out for the rest of this year. They are hoping to have their new hires in place by early September.
