(NEWS CENTER) -- Republican senatoral candidate Charlie Summers has unveiled a new ad which blasts one of his opponents, Independent Angus King, for using a negative ad in a past election.

   King's campaign says the Summers ad distorts the truth and says its taking a stand against such ads in this election. 

    We talk with NEWS CENTER's political analysts, Phil Harriman and Ethan Strimling, about the ads and about what Charlie Summers and Democrat Cynthia Dill need to do to make a dent in King's lead in the polls.
