(NEWS CENTER) -- Governor Paul LePage met with the owners of two of Maine's three remaining lobster processors, trying to come up with a plan to make the state's lobstermen less reliant on Canadian processors.

Last week, it all came to a head when Canadian lobster fishermen forced a truck from Maine to turn around without off-loading its cargo of soft-shell lobsters, saying the cheaper lobsters are flooding the Canadian market and forcing dock prices down to a level they can't compete with.

So, what exactly can the governor and members of Maine's congressional delegation do to help the State's industry?

We ask NEWS CENTER analysts Phil Harriman and Ethan Strimling about the political side to the lobster debate.
