Fall is off to a great start

The showers and clouds quickly cleared out today making way for a gorgeous Sunday. High temperatures were mainly right around 70 degrees which is a little above average for this time of year. With the clear skies and light winds in place tonight get ready for some chilly overnight lows. The National Weather service has issued a frost advisory for eastern Maine until 8am. High pressure will provide us with sunny skies right through Tuesday. Next chance of showers head our way on Wednesday.

Tonight - Clear skies, light winds, and lows around 40 degrees.

Monday - Mostly sunny skies and a light southerly wind. Highs will be in the mid to low 60s. There is the slight chance of some mountain showers during the afternoon. Everybody else will stay dry.

Extended Forecast - Sunny skies and slightly warmer temps on Tuesday. A cold front will bring us clouds on Wednesday with some scattered showers during the afternoon. Skies clear out to partly cloudy conditions on Thursday. Friday will be a beautiful Fall day with sunny skies and highs in the 60s. Right now the computer models are hinting at some rain on Saturday. We will keep you posted as we get the latest information into the weather office.
