(NEWS CENTER) -- The Lewiston Sun Journal recently reported that cities such as Lewiston and Portland are seeing an uptick in the number of people looking for help in paying for living expenses.

Many of those people were recently told that they had reached the end of the 60-week limit for assistance from the program called "Temporary Assistance for Needy Families" -- or TANF.
