The Maine Democratic Party has filed a complaint with the Ethics Commission alleging that Sen. Nichi Farnham (R-Bangor) has violated election law because of a $73,000 television ad buy targeting her Democratic opponent. The Democratic Party says Farnham is listed an an officer of the PAC that purchased the airtime. But the Maine Senate Republican Majority PAC says her name was listed by mistake. Mills and Webster talk about that dispute and the larghe sums of money being spent to influence legislative races.
