(NEWS CENTER) -- Independent U.S. Senate candidate Angus King took a shot at republican challenger Charlie Summers for backing out of several scheduled debates and forums recently.  Summers says scheduling conflicts are to blame.

Also, a republican running for re-election to the Maine Senate is being called to task by democrats for her past link to a political action committee behind ads attacking the man she's running against.

And, a closer look at this week's report about substandard section 8 housing being overseen by the Maine State Housing Authority.
