Another fabulous October day across our beloved state, with a fair amount of sunshine this afternoon along with some mild thermometer readings. Our highs this time of year should be in the lower 60s, today we topped-out in the upper 60s to mid 70s in some spots.
Saturday a frontal boundary will wander across the state from west to east; eastern counties will likely experience dry conditions for much of the morning, with western areas will start with clouds and showers. As the front moves east, the showers will become more steady later in the day for eastern Maine. That front will move offshore by Sunday morning, so expect some sunshine Sunday morning, then an area of low pressure tracking north along that front will bring some increasing clouds in to the area, with the best chance of showers along coast and eastern Maine later in the day on Sunday.
Cooler temperatures will arrive on Sunday, and will be with us Monday as well with a partly sunny sky and breezy conditions expected for Columbus Day.
