HOULTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The family of a soldier from Maine who died after an attack in Afghanistan has announced plans for him to be laid to rest.
Sergeant First Class Aaron Henderson was from Houlton.
He was fatally injured in an attack on September 30th in Helmand Province.
Henderson was a member of the U.S. Army A Company, Second Batallion, Fifth Special Forces Group.
Henderson will be remembered Wednesday at the gymnasium at Houlton High School.
There will be a public visitation at noon, followed by the funeral at 2pm.
Henderson is survived by his mother and an older brother.
