ORONO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- Volunteers are the backbone of many organizations and on Wednesday people from around Maine were learning hot to get more of them.

The 26th annual 'Blaine House Conference on Service and Volunteerism' was held in Orono. It was put together by the Maine Commission for Community Service and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
