SOMERSWORTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- A deadly outbreak of a rare fungal meningitis has spread to New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services says four people have been diagnosed with the meningitis.
They are under care and are being monitored.
Federal Investigators have linked the outbreak -- which the Centers for Disease Control says has claimed 15 lives and infected 197 people across the country -- with steroid shots for back pain.
The Massachusetts based company that makes those steroid shots has recalled all of their products.
In New Hampshire, the medication was distributed to "Pain Care LLC" in Somersworth, Merrimack and Newington.
Pain Care has identified more than 700 people who could have been exposed to the medication and is working to notify all of them.
