EASTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State police say two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary and theft at Easton High School in Aroostook County.

The burglary was reported after Easton officials found someone had entered the school and gained access to the chemistry lab where a large number of glass test tubes had been stolen.

Police say 28-year-old Tim Rooney from Fort Fairfield has been arrested and charged with burglary and theft, and 33-year-old Erik Lamoreau from Easton has been charged with possession of stolen property and violation of conditions of release.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and more charges in the case are possible.
