PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Police have arrested a man who they say has burglarized homes in several different counties in Maine.
Forty-five-year-old John P. Michaud was taken into custody Thursday night on felony burglary and theft charges after a months-long investigation in the Poland area. Police also charged Michaud with breaking into a home in Turner on Thursday.
Authorities say after he was taken into custody, detectives found a number of stolen items at his home.
More charges are expected as the investigation continues.
Michaud was being held on $30,000 cash bail.
