As promised, we got off to a soggy start today, but sunshine made a triumphant return by mid-morning. The sky will continue to clear tonight, with a gusty northwest wind steering some cold air back into our neighborhoods (most of Maine will drop into the 20s.)
Plenty of sunshine for Thursday with high pressure in control of our weather pattern, with northwest breezes pulling some chilly air into the Pine Tree State.
We do have some changes coming for Friday, as the high slides to our east; at the same time a frontal boundary will move our way from the west. Low pressure along with that front will bring some rain and snow showers to the region on Saturday, with a brighter sky expected on Sunday.
