Students will document trip to Arlington National Cemetery

ELLSWORTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- The Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington is honoring veterans by laying wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery, again this year, and six students will make the trip to document it all.

The students who take classes at Hancock County Technical Center will be taking photos and video and posting their stories on various social media sites daily. They leave December 9th and arrive at Arlington on the December 15th.

Benjamin Speed is the media communications instructor at HCTC. He will be advising the students on the trip and he said this will provide his students a valuable learning experience.

"These students are gonna have to learn how to think on their feet, how to be adaptable to the situation and I'm gonna be there to coach them along. But I feel confident that as second year students at the technical center that they really are ready for this," Speed said.
