It's been a blue-sky kind of day across Northern New England, with a mostly clear-sky evening ahead, with just a few clouds expected by dawn. Clouds will increase during the day Friday as a frontal boundary moves our way. Southerly breezes will keep conditions a bit milder tomorrow, with some rain and snow showers possible by Friday evening.
The weekend will bring a variety of sky conditions, with Saturday bringing clouds with areas of light snow in northernmost counties, and rain showers for Mid-Maine and coastal communities. Drier air will be with us for Sunday, so look for sunshine for the second half of the weekend.
Changes are coming for Monday as another frontal boundary will stir things up, meaning we will witness some areas of light to moderate snow at times in northern areas, with mixed precipitation and rain showers elsewhere.
So...our weather pattern is busy, but no big storms are in sight.
